Metal Fabricator Level 3 Apprenticeship
Training includes:
- Welding methods – TIG, MIG, MMA
- Pattern Development – Radial line, parallel line, Triangulation
- Metallurgy
- Engineering mathematics
- Fabrication on both Plate and Sheet metal
- Plasma / Oxyacetylene cutting
- Heat treating
- Forming sheet/ plate components

Apprentices will attend Qualitrain Engineering Academy, one day a week on day release from their employer, to complete their Apprenticeship.

Maximum Funding: £27,000. This apprenticeship is funded via the Apprenticeship Levy, of which our team can support your organisation with the administration.

Minimum duration to gateway: 42 months (this does not include EPA period).
Entry requirements: Employers are able to set the recruitment and selection criteria for Apprenticeships. In order to optimise success, candidates will typically have 4 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or equivalent, including Mathematics, English and a Science.
