The Performing Engineering Operations Level 2 NVQ is a free Welding Course that will provide you with the skills required start your career in Manufacturing and Engineering. The Qualification is designed for candidates with little to no Engineering experience, equipping you with the right skills to progress into the workplace.
This qualification is fully funded for unemployed candidates that are over 19 years of age. The training is delivered at Qualitrain Engineering Academy in Alfreton, Derbyshire, with any travel fare incurred covered by the Job Centre.
This course will teach you fundamental Engineering skills and provide you with real experience of what it’s like to work in a Manufacturing and Engineering environment.
Throughout your training you will create your own own product from start to finish whilst using a range of Machines, MIG Welding kits and Hand Fitting tools and techniques. You will be trained by Industry leading Tutors.

Location
The Performing Engineering Operations free welding course is delivered at our training facility in Alfreton, Derbyshire. The Academy is a 20 minute walk from Alfreton train station and just a five minute walk from the local bus station.
