EMPLOYERS
Benifits of Apprenticeships
Training and Development made simple
Apprenticeships provide an opportunity for Employers to introduce new people and skills into the organisation
It’s no secret that the extent of the skills shortage on the UK is vast, with the Manufacturing and Engineering industry affected the most1. Additionally, 19.5% of engineers currently working in the UK are due to retire by 2026, only exacerbating the gap in skills, knowledge and experience2.
Our team are here to help ensure your apprentices learn the skills required specifically to their job role and if you’re taking on new staff, we can even help with the recruitment process.
The benefits to your organisation
Plug your skills gap
An Apprenticeship provides the opportunity for knowledge and skills to be passed onto new team members from experience staff, keeping the skills in the company for years to come. Many apprenticeships even provide the opportunity for the organisation to choose any optional modules the apprentice undertakes. 86% of employers said apprenticeships helped them develop skills relevant to their own individual organisation!3
Upskill workforce
Apprenticeships aren’t just for new employees; they are an effective way to upskill your existing workforce. They provide a great opportunity to ensure your workforce have the best skills available to carry out their job effectively and even progress within the organisation.
Improve moral and retention
Providing employees with the opportunity to learn new skills and obtain qualifications boosts morale and enables them to envision their long-term development with the organisation. This directly contributes to the retention of staff and shows value.
Cost effective
The training and Apprenticeships delivered at Qualitrain Engineering Academy are funded by the Apprenticeship Levy. The Levy is a simple funding avenue put into place to ensure all organisations have access to the training and apprenticeships they require. Find out more here.
Improves Productivity
